My Story
Daniel Irwin is a short story wiz, novelist, and educator. He has had a passion for writing his whole life, focusing heavily on the historical fiction, mystery, and thriller genres. For 33 years Daniel has taught chemistry and has used his love of science and history to shape his writing over and over again.

​Jack Lear has overcome danger, depression, and death, but violence continues to haunt this Pittsburgh firefighters existence. Fighting has led him closer to the source of his torment, but has yet to bring the ultimate truth he seeks.
Now Jack finds himself hunting “the Dark Man” whose cruelty has caused so much pain in his life. The journey follows Jack as he works to protect the innocent, fights for the future of Ireland, and infiltrates a plot to ignite violence that is on the verge of exploding.
Can Jack defeat “the Dark Man,” even as his mind becomes more tortured and confused? Will he stop the uprising in Ireland, or will predictions of doom overtake him? He can save them all, but in doing so, will he lose himself and the woman he loves through all of time and space? The water can save, but the fire still burns.
